Virus and 5 of my useful habits to protect yourself

It turned out that the virus brought a lot of new useful habits into my life. And I hope that they will stay with me.

1. Do not touch your face with your hands

The face is harmful to touch with unwashed hands, not only from the point of view of the virus. But also in terms of skin health. Psychologists also say that this is a sign of self-doubt. So I tried not to touch my face for a long time. But it didn’t work. And when I started thinking about a deadly virus, the new habit was fixed in just 3 days!

2. Often sweep and MOP the floor

I used to do it once a week. But it turned out that sweeping and mopping the floor takes minutes. As a result, the house is much cleaner and completely free of dust!

3. Rinsing the products after the store

Products in stores are on the shelves, anyone touches them. But some products are used in packaging, for example, milk or bread. And something you eat right out of the packages. The virus, as it turned out, is not transmitted through products. But there are also intestinal infections. And I like to put clean packages in the refrigerator. Of course, I don’t rinse the sugar. All according to the situation.

4. Disinfect small items

With the virus, I started wiping my keys (or washing them with soap), my phone, knobs and switches, and payment cards with alcohol every time I went outside. But at the same time the keyboard and mouse to be wiped down frequently. This takes very little time, and the benefits are obvious. After all, how often do you eat a sandwich, immediately take the phone, immediately get the card?

5. Keep the mode on the weekend

Since the isolation started, I get up without an alarm clock. I go to bed no later than 23.00 and get up at 7-8 in the morning. So I get enough sleep. It turned out that with this mode, I do not need to sleep on weekends. So I started getting up early on weekends, too. To live without a downed mode is wonderful! Now I think about how to calculate the correct mode for the time of normal activity.

And the last thing is not even a habit, but just a change of attitude. I began to rely on facts and live by the situation. If I see loud and dark headlines: “We are all going to die”, “lies are all around”, “secret information has surfaced” — I immediately squander it.
